Can you use some of my left over paint?
In some cases this is possible and it would be dependent on how old the paint is, where it has been stored and how much is needed for your project.
How much paint will i need?
The amount of paint and/or pre-treatment needed will depend on each project. Some surfaces are porous and therefore require more paint. Some types and brands of paints also require more to deal with coverage.
Our team are very knowledgeable through years of good quality experience and will be able to answer any specific questions about your project.
What colour paint should i get?
Tastes vary from person to person, but our experts can help you make a decision based on your end goal. The old wives tale is that lighter colours help make a small space look bigger, but this isnt always the case. Even going against the norm and painting the ceiling a darker colour will help create an illusion of it being higher.
What happens to any left over paint?
If you want to hold onto any left over paints, we have no issues leaving them with you. If there are any unopened containers, we will return to the store and apply the refund to your invoice. Any other quantities, we either store it, recycle it or donate it.
How do i prepare for the painting to get underway?
Remove any small items from the tops of shelves and pictures from your wall. We can move the larger items towards the centre of the room and properly cover and protect furniture/items.
Make arrangements to separate pets from the work site. We are all pet owners too, but this will help keep them safe any chemicals we may use.
Are you insured?
We have current Public Liability Insurance that will cover any accidental injury or damage to property that may occur while we work. It is also a good idea to check in with your current insurance provider to make sure their policies cover this type of work prior to us starting.
